The first day of the tenth month of the Chinese lunar calendar will mark 149 years since the birth of one of the most significant masters of southern Chinese martial arts, grandmaster Lam Saiwing, uncle, adoptive father and teacher of the current Lam family Hung Kyun patriarch, grandmaster Lam Jou.

On this occasion, Pavel Macek´s Hung Kyun Gym (Lam Ga Hung Kyun; LGHK), with the cooperation of fellow southern Chinese martial arts schools, will hold a celebration in grandmaster´s honor on the 21. and 22. of November. This year´s event will also serve as a preparation for the 150th anniversary celebration, taking place next November.
